The Sidcot Group began trading in 2005 and currently incorporates three subsidiary companies focused on the ‘away from home’ paper market. Since 2005 Sidcot has experienced a rapid growth in business by providing a quality product combined with excellent service to our customers.
Across the business, Sidcot Group employs 90 staff at its 20,000m2 site in Royton, Oldham, which provides excellent access routes to the motorway network.
Strategic investment is a major contributing factor to the rapid growth in our business. From 2005 to 2015 the Group invested over £10m in new converting machinery and the acquisition of Woodstock Business Park. In 2016, Sidcot Group will invest a further £5 million in its Matryx subsidiary, installing two fully automatic state-of-art converting lines, complete with automated packing and annualised manufacturing capacity of 6 million cases, double that of 2015.
Today, whilst enjoying rapid growth over the last ten years, we are still a privately owned company. We believe that our success can be measured by our ability to retain ‘the personal touch’ that characterises our down to earth attitude to business and most importantly, the service we provide to our customers.
